On Friday, October 3rd, it\u2019s time for Kulturnatta<\/em> \u2013 Culture Night \u2013\u00a0in Troms\u00f8 and we want in on the fun! So, from 5pm we very much welcome you to take a sneak peek at our brand new exhibition At Home We Belong, by photographer Inuuteq Storch (b. 1989, Kalaallit Nunaat\/Greenland).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inuuteq Storch explores and documents everyday life in Kalaallit\u00a0Nunaat, often using analogue cameras given to him by friends and family. Storch mixes black and white and colour photography in different formats. His images contrast the often stereotypical representations made by foreign visitors to his homeland.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take the opportunity to see the exhibition at your leisure during Kulturnatta \u2013 ahead of the official opening on Saturday, October 4th! You can also catch a presentation by curators Marthe T. Fjellestad, Mari Hildung and Hanne Hammer Stien at 7pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perspektivet Museum is closed in the daytime due to the Open Seminar: UrbTrans<\/a><\/em>, but from 5:00 PM\u20139:00 PM we have an open house as part of Kulturnatta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
