Inuuteq captivated the audience with a personal introduction of himself and the four series shown in the exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First up was a presentation of\u00a0<em>At Home We Belong<\/em>, which is a playful series with motifs consisting of Inuuteq&#8217;s friends at home in Sisimiut. Next, we went to\u00a0<em>Soon Will Summer Be Over<\/em>, which is a photo series from Qaanaaq, located northwest of Kalaallit Nunaat. Inuuteq&#8217;s name originates from this town, which is the community that was most recently colonized on Kalaallit Nunaat. Finally, Inuuteq told the story behind\u00a0<em>Anachronism<\/em>, which consists of seven short films edited together from undeveloped film reels that he found in a landfill. The reels turned out to be from a public film archive, and Inuuteq wants to use the films to bring out the conflicting feelings he and the people around him have about where they come from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We thank Inuuteq for a lovely tour, and the audience for the responsive and warm atmosphere.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The event was quickly sold out with an additional waiting list when we invited to an artist tour with Inuuteq Storch in the photo exhibition\u00a0At Home We Belong.
