In his own exhibition “At Home We Belong” he met for a conversation with professor of Art History, Hanne Hammer Stien, and graphic designer Jacob Birch about the book Knight’s Hood Poems.
The photo book shows graffiti from a block community in Nuuk, Kalaallit Nunaat, and among other things addresses how Nuuk’s development is perceived by the city’s population. The book is the result of a collaboration between Inuuteq and the research project Urban Transformation in a Warming Arctic (UrbTrans), has a foreword by artist and architect Joar Nango and is published by Mondo Books.
It was an exciting conversation about circumpolar identity, friendship and the exhibition “At Home We Belong”. On Tuesday, Inuuteq will be giving a tour in his exhibition, with only five tickets left!
