Embroidery workshop | Sundays at Folkeparken

On Sunday, June 29th, you can join an embroidery workshop with textile artist Marsil Andjelov Al-Mahamid in Perspektivet Folkeparken! The second floor of Kvitnesgården will be filled up with coffee, needles and thread.

Embroidery workshop with Marsil

Embroidery takes some time, so feel free to join from the start and take in the whole workshop. Duration time: 12 pm –16 pm Age: 10 years and up

Andjelov Al-Mahamid uses embroidery to create situations where people gather and embroider together with him. He calls these shared moments Social Sculptures, and participants are encouraged to reflect on what it means to have a home. Andjelov Al-Mahamid now has a collection of over 200 Social Sculptures. What is “home” for you?
