On Sunday you can join the embroidery workshop with textile artist Marsil Andjelov Al-Mahamid in Perspektivet Folkeparken!
About the Workshop
In Kvitnesgården you will find both coffee, needles and thread. Embroidery takes some time, so feel free to join from the start and take in the whole workshop.
Duration time: drop-in between 12-4PM
Age: 10 years and up
Andjelov Al-Mahamid uses embroidery to create situations where people gather and embroider together with him. He calls these shared moments Social Sculptures, and participants are encouraged to reflect on what it means to have a home. Andjelov Al-Mahamid now has a collection of over 200 Social Sculptures. What is “home” for you?
