Guided tours by museum director Marianne A. Olsen and journalist & architect Erling Steenstrup all day.
Gáisi Language and Cultural Center will be demonstrating traditional lining of Sámi shoes.
Kvaløysletta Husflidslag (Norwegian Folk Art and Craft Association) is represented with their textile group.
The event is supported by Tromsø kommune og MIN Kulturminnedag – mangfold og inkludering i nærmiljøet.
Shuttle bus from Hella
Unfortunately, there is no car park at Straumen gård. We encourage carpooling and dropping off passengers at the farm. The parking space at Hella is available for our visitors, and there will be a shuttle bus service to bring the driver between Hella and Straumen gård.

European Heritage Days is organized by voluntary groups, associations, museums, municipalities, private owners of cultural monuments and others who wish to convey cultural heritage.
The theme of Culural Heritage Days is «Heritage of Routes, Networks and Connections».
The Cultural Heritage Days are part of the European Heritage Days, which are celebrated throughout Europe in mid-September each year. 50 countries are involved – which results in 70,000 events and 30 million visitors.
