Perspektivet Museum was well visited during the opening of the new exhibition Norwegian Journal of Photography Goes North! last weekend.
The images is an excerpt from an exhibition produced by Preus Museum in 2024 and shows works from the photographers Christian Belgaux, Hilde Honerud, Mattis Kleeb, Giulia Mangione, Javad Parsa, Nora Savosnick and Jo Straube.
It was extra special that Christian Belgaux and Javad Parsa were present all weekend – first for an exclusive tour on Friday evening, also at the official opening on Saturday. During the event a speech was held by director Marianne A. Olsen before the photographers and curator Marthe T. Fjellestad joined for a conversation about photography, democracy and the value of freedom of speech in art and press. There was also a mini concert by the duo The Order of the Crow.
We wish to thank the visitors present at the event both Friday and Saturday, and we are looking forward to seeing guests in the time to come!
