On the last opening day of the summer in Perspektivet Folkeparken, Sunday 23 August from 1:PM, the Spellmannslaget in BUL Tromsø and the Folkdanslaget will play for a party!
About the Workshop
The Spellmannslaget emphasizes social dances that everyone can join in – join in and dance! Suitable for ages 5 and up.
Duration time: drop-in between 12-4PM
Age: 10 years and up
The Spellmannslaget in BUL Tromsø will preserve and continue the folk music tradition and slåtte music in Northern Norway.
The music will be used as an environment-creating form of socializing. The music that is played is traditional music (dance music), mostly from Northern Norway and the North Calotte.
The Folkdanslaget wants a good dancing environment, while at the same time wanting to preserve and develop Norwegian folk dance and music. The Folkdanslaget believes that the joy of dancing provides the best conditions for both the professional and the social to be able to function together.
Sundays at Folkeparken
Ice cream from the Stabburet kiosk, stilts, box throwing, boat building, exhibitions, tours and fun workshops and experiences throughout the summer. This is just some of what we serve to get you in the summer mood. Welcome to wonderful Sundays between 12 and 4 pm in the park!
Summer program
We are open from 12:00 to 16:00 every Sunday between June 21 and August 23. We are continuously updating the calendar with experiences, so stay tuned here and on Facebook.
